Namaste and Hello!
My name is Animesh Lamichhane and I am living in Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful city in Nepal. I was born on 17/05/2009 and I was a happy little baby with a loving family! But one day, I broke my first bone. This was the beginning of a story that changed my life and the life of my family. I broke many bones after this but no doctors in Nepal did know why and my parents became really worried and were sad because of me.
After many weeks of researching the doctors in Kathmandu found out that I am suffering of the Osteogenis Imperfecta disease - a disorder of the bone fragility.
This website is all about my life with Osteogenesis Imperfecta and it has two goals:
1. To tell people in Nepal about my disease - this might help another family that doesn't know what is wrong with its kid
2. To receive support for my further treatments
